Vegan

This vegan freakshake is for you if you have a serious sweet tooth. It's truly over the top, but double the fun. Making a freakshake is actually more enjoyable than buying one! With this recipe, you can easily make your own freakshake. You just need to stock up on a ton of sweetness! Oh, and it's also a bit of a healthy freakshake, of course, because the shake itself is made with turmeric.

This is how you make it

  1. Cut the banana and mango into pieces and put them in the overnightfreezer.
  2. Before you start, put the glass in the freezer so that it gets cold.
  3. Pour about 75 ml of the liquid portion of the coconut milk into asaucepan and mix with the coconut blossom sugar. Leave this on for 10-15 minutes. Let the caramel sauce thicken on medium heat to a thick caramel sauce.
  4. Finely grind the hazelnuts untill they are almost completely fine in the blender. Set aside.
  5. Add the banana, mango, curcuma latte and 125 ml coconut milk to the blender and grind completely smooth.
  6. Remove your glass from the freezer. Dip the top in the caramel sauce and then in the crumbled hazelnuts. Drop some extra caramel sauce along the sliding edges.
  7. Put the shake in the glass.
  8. Decorate your shake with the chocotreats, hazelnut waffle strips and the rest of the hazelnuts.

Tip(s)

  • Do you want to make your own coconut cream as a topping? Then put the can of coconut milk at least one overnight in the refrigerator, until the fat has separated from the liquid. Beat the hard part with a mixer and use the liquid part for the caramel and the shake.
