What does your ideal noodle bowl look like? We prefer to fill our bowl with vegan ingredients that are pure and organic. Tick it off! Our vermicelli noodles are made from brown rice. The teriyaki wok sauce, which you season your tofu with, is full of good, Japanese ingredients. All the flavours are in it. We have kept it simple in this vegan noodles recipe with pepper as the main vegetable, but you can of course cook your own favourite vegetables with it. What you should definitely not skip is TerraSana's teriyaki wok sauce, and the vermicelli. Both of these are unbeatable!

This is what you need

This is how you make it

  1. Prepare the vermicelli noodles according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. Cut the tofu into strips.
  3. Heat the coconut oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the tofu strips to the frying pan and fry for 5 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Turn halfway through. Set aside.
  5. Meanwhile, chop the onions and pepper.
  6. Add to the pan (there is probably enough oil left in the pan, otherwise add a little) and fry the vegetables for 4-5 minutes until tender.
  7. Add the fried tofu to the vegetables. Pour in the teriyaki sauce and stir through. Let the dish simmer for 5 minutes to blend the flavours.
  8. Briefly add the noodles and gently stir until warm again.
  9. Serve and garnish with fresh coriander and lime wedges (optional).
