Oatmeal with turmeric may sound crazy, but it really is delicious! Turmeric does not taste as earthy as you might think. If you use TerraSana's curcuma latte, you immediately have a spice mix that has been specially selected for the power of turmeric. For example, it contains black pepper to enhance the effect of turmeric. And the taste of turmeric and spices provide that little bit of extra oomph in your oatmeal. Can you think of something better to start your morning with? This healing herb gives of course also a beautiful yellow color to your food. The brighter the color, the better!

This is how you make it

  1. Put the oatmeal, vegetable drink, broken linseed and curcuma vanilla latte in a pan and bring to the boil. Let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Use crushed or ground flaxseed, otherwise it won't bind well.
  2. Mash the banana and stir it into the oatmeal.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and put the oatmeal in a bowl.
  4. Garnish with grated coconut, blueberries and raspberries.

Tip(s)

  • We garnished the oatmeal with a cube of these delicious carrot muffins and a scoop of whipped vegan cream.
