Matcha chia pudding

How do you make chia pudding? That's very simple. If you combine the right amount of liquid (vegetable drink or coconut milk) and chia seeds, a kind of pudding is created after about 10-15 minutes. This way you have a good vegan breakfast with good fats (omega-3). The only thing you have to pay attention to is that you stir well in the first few minutes. If you don't do this, the chia seeds will stick together. If you stir regularly, the chia seeds will become nice and soft and you can start your nutritious breakfast!

This is how you make it

  1. Mix the chia seeds with the coconut drink in a mug. Let it soak for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chia seeds have absorbed the drink. Stir well, especially in the first few minutes, otherwise the chia seeds will stick together.
  2. Stir the matcha latte into the chia pudding.
  3. Don't think the pudding is sweet enough? Then add a tablespoon of maple syrup now.
  4. Mash some of the strawberries and stir through the chia pudding. Cut the rest into pieces.
  5. Put the almond paste on the pudding. Garnish with the strawberry pieces.

Tip(s)

  • Want to make your pudding extra fancy? Make white coconut custard! Mix the coconut drink with arrowroot in a saucepan and heat slowly. Just before the arrowroot starts to solidify and the substance resembles custard, take it off the heat. Then keep stirring for another minute. Add if you like it sweeter maple syrup or coconut blossom sugar.
