Dates balls with nut butter

Gluten free
Vegan

You can make date balls with nut butter and almonds in 5-10 minutes. This way you have a healthy snack at home very quickly. In principle, these energy balls are chocolate-free, but if you like date balls with chocolate, you can roll them in cocoa powder. Are you more of a fan of date balls with peanut butter or hazelnut spread? Simply replace the 3-mix nut butter with your favorite nut butter.

Pro tip: Freezing date balls is a really good idea. This way you don't eat all the balls in 1 go (that's really a realistic scenario as far as we're concerned), and these energy balls are even very tasty cold. Long defrosting is therefore not necessary.

This is how you make it

  1. Grind the dates completely in a blender until a smooth ball is formed.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix. Make small balls of it.
  3. Is the dough still too dry to roll into balls?
  4. Then add an extra tablespoon of maple syrup.
  5. Optional: roll the balls by the cacoa powder.

Tip(s)

  • Don't have the 2-mix at home? Replace with your favorite nutbutter.
